Over the course of all my custom design work, I’ve noticed that the same features continue to be requested: project galleries, pin-it buttons, simple navigation, etc.
I wound up implementing a lot of these “advanced” features into my own blog, and came to a realization – I’d like to see someone actually include these things in a template already! Don’t you think it’s time someone did?
So, that’s what I’m doing. I am currently hard at work on finishing up a handful of ready-to-purchase, easy-to-use, and slammin’ themes for WordPress (Blogger too, but will be a simpler design since some advanced features simply aren’t Blogger-friendly). All you have to do is pay, download, and install. WordPress themes will be built on the Genesis framework and also include tutorials (added as requests demand) for the most common features – so you can get what you need without hiring a designer for every little detail (or if you do, it will be easier for you to maintain afterward).
With any luck, the first theme will be ready in just a few short months. I’m really excited about it, and I can’t wait for you to try it out! For a sneak peek at my first WordPress custom theme, check out my new Cake and Comfort blog. You can request advanced notice to install before it’s release by shooting me an email.
Thanks! And stay tuned!
